What are we about?

Raising up a generation of women who are true worshippers, worshipping in spirit and in truth. We aim to be LIVING PROOF of walking in TRUTH.

What is our Vision?

To see women of all ages, economic and cultural backgrounds walking in spiritual, emotional, financial and physical victory.

To mobilise SPIRIT-EMPOWERED ministry through women in South Africa today.

How?

WORD CONNECT: Teaching the Word of God and training in daily experience and dependence on the Holy Spirit. There are 15 different Ladies Groups which meet to study Gods Word. Material used includes that of Beth Moore, Jill Briscoe and Kay Arthur - all skilled Bible Teachers. Our groups meet once a week but challenge one another to get into God's Word on a daily basis.

GENERATIONS CONNECT: This is an intergenerational ministry, creating opportunities to serve and to grow. It is a channel for encouraing friendships across age groups and for reaching out to the Community. Meetings are held at sunset each term, encouraging women of all ages to attend. We also have an annual Conference or Weekend Away.

NEIGHBOURS CONNECT: Lifestyle, friendship evangelism. Women are invited to warm fellowship, close to their home, every 2 months. There are currently 20 neighbourhood groups operating effectively. This is a great outreach to our neighbours and to new women in our church.

FRIENDS CONNECT: Mentoring is encouraged and takes place on a 'one-to-one' basis. Material is available to equip our Mentors.

LEADERS CONNECT: Leadership training is implemented twice a year to encourage and equip our women leaders. Opportunities are created for leaders to exercise their spiritual gifts.

Terry is a nursing sister by profession, married to John, the Senior Pastor of MBC. She is gifted in teaching and leadership, with a particular calling to work with women. Terry has a passion to help people discover their God-ordained purpose, encouraging them to exercise their spiritual gifts in the Body of Christ. She has accumulated valuable experience in Women's Ministry over the past 25 years and loves to share new ideas with others. Terry is the National Coordinator of Hidden Treasure Ministries and a Board Member of the SA Baptist Women's Department.
