Hope Prison Ministries

Volunteer Prison Ministry to juveniles, prisoners, family of prisoners, victims of crime and their families, and correctional officials, doing Lifeskills and Biblical studies. The focus is on Discipleship.

Involvement can come through joining  to assist, but with the long term view to be responsible for your own class. Prayer support is vital. Potential areas are evangelism, discipleship, restorative justice, counseling and theological education.

Bible Way Correspondence Course

Our outreach is through Bible study books and correspondence with the inmates of Pollsmoor prison. There are ten study books in the course covering such topics as ‘Who is Jesus?’, ‘God’s Way of Salvation’ and ‘The Life of Paul’.

The two main areas people can be come involved in are marking the test booklets at MBC and replying to letters written by the inmates.
